Volterra
Volterra is an island state located in the Golden Sea.
Volterra is a city with a strong military history, built its prominence with its unique culture as it had been settled long ago by travelers from the Burning Empire. Some might see them as more foreign than most of the Golden Sea cities. In an analogue to Earth history if the Golden Sea is the Italian/Greek city states then Volterra is like Turkey I guess, still a part of the same culture but different enough.
