Warforged

The Warforged long ago were machinations created by powerful mages. Originally made to be subservient creatures, they were the many foot soldiers part of the 1st Mage Rebellion.

After the rebellion, Warforged were freed from their masters, as their sentience was recognized. The Warforged for the most part live amongst others throughout society, most commonly seen in the Golden Sea. Many will travel the world seeking adventure and might attempt to settle in other cultures/societies which might see them as alien.

The creation of Warforged was purposely obfuscated by entities such as the Central Mage Authority following the 1st Mage Rebellion, mainly to prevent the possibility of another army being created for another possible Mage Rebellion. Though as of recently, rumours have spread of the Warforged people having rediscovered a means of reproducing more Warforged. The exact process is unknown, as there is word that the new process is much more different than it was originally. And the existence of newly made Warforged has been validated so the existence of this process holds true.

As of recently, following this discovery, many report that Warforged that they once knew have supposedly left their original lives to join a hidden Warforged society which possesses this means of reproduction. Those who were once friends with these Warforged say that they would meet with other Warforged traveling to find their people, and to gather them to form this society.
