Human

The most common mortal race in this world. The variations of Humans that exist across the world have mostly been tied to climate and the regions they hail from, but as time has passed in this universe, Humans have always been migrating between regions and so it’s not too rare to see the different variations of Humans in one place.

Humans from Dimitar

Humans from Dimitar tend to have a paler, lighter complexion.

The Humans on the Western part of the continent share a different culture than their Eastern counterparts (defined mostly by the natural border of the Kermes River). The Western Humans and their society tend to revolve around Bahamut and the saviour doctrine resulting from his feats in the past. A united society (for the most part) that is currently ruled by descendants of the original founder of the nation; a Gold Dragon named Tamarand.

The Eastern Humans on this continent are more influenced by a variety of cultures, from the Southern migrants, Wood Elves from the Evergreen Valley, as well as ancient Vampire Kingdoms. As a result many Humans from the Eastern parts consider themselves culturally different from the West, residing in a region referred to as the Verdant Vale. A quick note, it’s not unheard of for many Humans here to have Elven blood in them. If the blood is prominent enough, they are usually referred to as Half-Elves. The Elven heritage can originate from a number of places, either from Wood Elf migrants, Elven migrants from Mitra or the Elven Coast, or even ancient High Elf blood from houses ages ago.

Humans from the Golden Sea

Humans inhabiting the Cities in the Golden Sea tend to vary in their look, while most might share a light tan complexion, migration from more southern communities of Humans, which hold more darker complexions, might have influenced many of the inhabitants and how they look within the Golden Sea. As a result, Humans here can vary from pale from the North, to tanned, and to even dark from the South.

Humans from Mitra

Similar to the Golden Sea, Humans here vary in complexion and even look, as in this case the continent itself is massive.

While the paler ones might originate from the more colder, southern regions, as well as the eastern parts of the continent (or even migrants from Dimitar) many tanned and darker complexions exist throughout the continent. Due to the extent and influence of the Burning Empire on the continent, these Humans, initially living in different societies, over time migrated around the Empire/continent and rearranged the distribution of their complexion. As a result, it is not rare to find cities or regions within Mitra with Humans of mixed origin.

(Also an out of game note, Mitra/the Burning Empire is also where you can find the more Eastern Asian looking Humans from our world, initially living in distinct societies but with the Empire eventually integrated and migrated throughout the continent. Same thing with African looking Humans.)
