Drow

Many millennia ago the Elves had a great schism, and with it the Drow were created. Banished to the Underdark, today they are a peoples living across many Underdark states. Having freed themselves from the grasp of the spider god Lolth, many seek to improve relations with the surface dwellers and establish a future for their people.

Many Drow today would consider themselves different than Elves, almost considering themselves different people, thus the misnomer of “Dark Elf” might be offensive to some.
